Hi. I'm Sharday.

Welcome to my site. It's here that I document all things related to style, beauty and my experiences as a mother.

I'm going to come clean with you. I'm not one of those mamas who have homemade muffins, fruit slices or freshly cut veggie sticks prepared and ready at a moment's notice for Lily. Between juggling a full-time job, spending time with my husband, exercising three times a week and binging on the new season of Stranger Things - I can barely find time for myself, let alone slave away in the kitchen.

My philosophy is that Lily needs to get her three solid meals a day. From Monday to Thursday, Lily is lucky enough to go to a home daycare where her amazing carer prepares tasty mid-morning treats, lunches & afternoon bites. My husband and I make her delicious and healthy breakfasts & dinners at home and on the weekend... but happens when we're on-the-go or travelling? Welcome to the snack zone!

Instead of resorting to baked goods from the local cafe or chips from 7/11 - I always try to have some pre-packaged baby food on hand. And obviously not just any baby food. I always lean towards 100% certified Organic (up to Canadian standards) that have obviously got to be scrumptious but still pack a nutritious punch.

My #1 mama hack of the last few months has been storing at least 10 or so packs of mini rice cakes, wholegrain cereal and fruit and veggie oat bars, in the trunk of the car. Hungry before we're heading to the supermarket? Got it! Getting peckish as we're stuck in traffic? Got it! It honestly couldn't be easier. And I have zero "mom guilt" because I know I'm feeding her great food which will hopefully keep nurturing her into a little foodie.

So if you haven't tried PC Organics baby food or created your own little snack stash, I highly recommend it! Anything that makes life easier is A-OK in my books!
